Responsibilities :
As a member of the Product Engineering Team, your task is to :

  • Analyse the applicable standards and - from this - derive the risks that are applicable and must be anlysed in the frame of a new feature development.
  • As from there, you have to elaborate the risk analysis and the related safety decisions applicable to the new feature, in close cooperation with development teams and QA team.
  • You have to review the test strategy (test plan) that will verify the said requirements
  • You participate to the tests that verify the said requirements
  • You are in charge of Radiotherapy Incident watch, analyze radiotherapy incident reports throughout the world, verify related status of IBA systems, and if needed derive applicable product/test improvement
  • You also train team members to follow quality requirements

Profile :

  • You have a master degree in (engineering) sciences, or an equivalent experience;
  • You have a solid practical experience in risk management (risk analysis, safety requirement writing and testing), in an R&D environment 
  • You are fascinated by new technologies and always willing to update your knowledge in all aspects covered by the Product Engineering Team within IBA (Particle Therapy, Industrial Systems, Molecular System)
  • Experience in the Telelogic DOORS requirements management tool is a plus
  • You are able to organize your work, autonomously and takes initiatives
  • Given the international environment, you are ateam player with excellent communication skills ijn English and preferably French
  • You are willing to travel worldwide on a frequent basis (up to 20%)
